Immaculate Conception School Cross Country

| On Thursday September 18th The IC School Cross Country Team ran its first home meet at Ghiloni Park in Marlboro with AMSA. Thirty runners from the schools finished the 1.65 mile race in less than 12 minutes. The next Wednesday September 24th IC Cross Country ran a meet at the Trottier School in Southboro with four other schools and a total of 130 runners ran the 1.8 mile course through fields, several small hills and a shaded path through the woods. Everyone finished the race and improved their time from the first race. IC School hosted a meet with three schools on October third including Gibbons School in Westborough, Melican School and St. Bernadette’s. A total of 117 runners finished the 1.65 mile race. Our IC School athletes did very well and the team finished in third place. On October 9th IC School ran in a meet with the Marlborough Middle School on a 1.2 mile course behind the Marlboro High School, IC had runners finish in first and second place and everyone finished the course. |
