| This is my sixth year teaching at Immaculate Conception, however I.C. has been an important part of my life for much longer than that, as I have been a parishioner here for many years. In addition, I graduated from Immaculate Conception School. After later graduating Marlborough High School, I received a B.S. in Elementary Education fromWorcester State College. On a personal note, my husband Tom and I have three sons and recently became first time grandparents. | |||||||

| I have been an Aide at Immaculate Conception School for 2 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Framingham State College and worked as a Menswear Buyer for Bradlees until I had my first son and chose to stay home and raise him and his brother who was born 2 years later. When my children were in 2nd grade and Kindergarten here at ICS, I returned to the work force as a substitute teacher at ICS. When I was offered the opportunity to join the faculty, I believe I was answering His call to serve. My husband and I are supporters and advocates of Catholic education. He is a graduate of St. Agnes School in Arlington, MA and Boston College High School in Dorchester, MA. Our family is involved with the IC Parish where my sons are altar servers and I serve as a Eucharistic Minister. I am constantly surprised and delighted by the childrens response to learning. They inspire me every day. |

| This is my tenth year teaching the Pre-K 4 year old program at Immaculate Conception School. Our Pre-K program is a developmental program which allows each child to develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and spiritually. Recognizing that children learn through play, each child is encouraged to discover, explore, question, make choices and succeed. I am a graduate of American International College with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. I have a M.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. In addition to having taught in private preschools, I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade before having my family. While at home with my children, a friend and I co-founded the Northboro Food Pantry. I am a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima in Northboro. My husband and I have four children and four grandchildren ages 1-7. We have become more aware of the challenges young parents face today. I love teaching the 4 year old children. They are always amazed, excited, and appreciative of their day. |

Christian values and a love of God and self are an integral part of my kindergarten classroom.

| I came to Immaculate Conception School in 1989 to set up and teach the Pre- K program. In 1994 I moved up to kindergarten and have continued to teach kindergarten. I am happy to be returning to Immaculate Conception for another wonderful year. Prior to Immaculate Conception School I taught pre-school, kindergarten, first, second, and third grade in private, parochial, and public settings. Bachelor of Arts - Elementary Education - UMass, Amherst, Master of Education - Elementary Education - Fitchburg, MA MA Certification - Elementary(K-8) I think education starts with the child and his/her needs. I believe the focus of education today should be to create life long learners with skills, knowledge, attitudes and Christian values, which will enable each child to use and appreciate Gods gifts to him/her and be the best that he/she can be. |

1st Grade Teacher |

| I have been at Immaculate Conception School for more than 20 years. During this time I have taught kindergarten and grades 5, 2 and 1. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Framingham State College and a Master of Education with an Early Childhood Concentration from Worcester State College. My state certification is k-8. In addition, I keep current by taking graduate courses and attending workshops. I believe first grade is special because we learn so many new and important skills. My favorite part is helping the children learn to read. My hope is that first grade is an exciting place to be for all my students. I am happy to be a part of the ICS community. |
